Primary Pulmonary Hypertension….

Pulmonary hypertension is a form of hypertension which affects the blood vessels in the lungs. We commonly know hypertension as high blood pressure. Pulmonary hypertension is a disorder of blood vessels in the lungs in which the blood pressure inside the blood vessels in the lungs arises to a hazardously high level. Pulmonary hypertension is of two types – primary pulmonary hypertension and secondary pulmonary hypertension.

Primary pulmonary hypertension starts in the pulmonary arteries of the lungs. Pulmonary arteries move the blood from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs for oxygen. People who have high blood pressure specifically in the pulmonary arteries, they have pulmonary hypertension. Primary pulmonary hypertension can lead to a failure of the right side of the heart as well as an introverted ability to exercise. Primary pulmonary hypertension occurs without a noticeable cause. The symptoms of primary pulmonary hypertension include some basic signs such as breathing shortness, fainting or syncope, tiredness, and angina pectoris.
